As long as Debbie Sinclair can remember, her life has always centered around movement and the arts. From becoming a professional Egyptian dancer and instructor to earning a first degree black belt in martial arts to dancing Argentine tango, her journey in movement has been widely diversified. In fact, it was while she was pursuing Argentine tango that led her to The GYROTONIC® Method. The fluidity of the system with its emphasis on spinal flexibility, core strength, and balance and stabilization through movement provided the perfect adjunct. She says that, after her first gyrotonic session, she became totally hooked and has never looked back.
Debbie is a graduate of Webster University in St. Louis with a degree in Graphics Communication with a concentration in painting. Since 1986, she has owned and operated Dahlal Internationale, Inc., an Egyptian dance costumes and accessories online retail business and has traveled extensively to Egypt and Turkey. She completed her GYROTONIC® Foundations training with Master Trainer Adrianna Thompson in 2019 and received her GYROTONIC® certification under Master Trainer Debra Rose in March 2020. Debbie is currently licensed to teach GYROTONIC® Level 1. She also has an extensive background in fitness, weight training, and Pilates.
